James Dobbyn Family
James Dobbyn (1824-1917) married Agnes Dolsen (1824-1908) and farmed Lot 26, Con. 2, ... They had seven children: Ida, Jacob, Sara, Marion, James, Ella and Mary...
James Douglas Dobbyn Jr. (1862-1946), the son of James Dobbyn and Agnes Dolson, married Anna Powell (d. 1955) in 1890. They built a new home on Lot 26, Con. 2, which still stands today. James Jr. and Anna farmed the home farm. They had three children: Agnes, Marguerite and Roland. Agnes married Cecil Tinney, and Marguerite married James Blakie. Roland married Ruth Robinson in 1938.
