...here were greatly shocked Thursday afternoon to learn that Mrs. Ernest Tofflemire of Colchester, had died suddenly in Grace hospital, Windsor, half an hour after she had been taken there for an X-ray to discover the cause for stomach trouble. She expired before the X-ray could be used... Mrs. Tofflemire's maiden name was Louisa Maddex and she was born at Cottam 72 years ago" ...
