Funeral services were held on Fri. at the Jenkins funeral home, Fort William, Ont., for Mrs. Nathan Stonehouse (nee Mae Scarlett)... In 1908 she married Nathan Stonehouse, a CPR engineer at Fort William and went there to live as a bride. Since her husband's death in Sept. 1943, she had resided with her daughter (Louise) Mrs. James Shanahan, Fort William. Besides her daughter she leaves four sons, Gordon, of Detroit, Mich; Ralph, Dresden; Edwin, of Nipiwin, Sask. and Bert, Atikokan, Ont.; 14 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two sisters (Buddy) Mrs. E. Boss, Fort William; (Stella) Mrs. William Clarke, Chatham, Ont...
