There passed away to the Great Beyond on Wed. March 11th , at 3:30 p.m., Lorenda Laird, beloved wife of the late Mr. Thos. Dobbyn, aged 97 years and 2 months... After her marriage she resided at Shetland, coming to Florence forty years ago where she resided until death called. Mr. Dobbyn predeceased her in 1901... She leaves to mourn her loss, three daughters and one son, Mrs. J. Zealand Johnston, of Penticton, B.C., Mrs. Ann Risk, of Detroit, Miss Winifred Dobbyn, of Florence, and Mr. A. B.
