At high noon on Sat. Oct. 1st, a pretty ceremony took place uniting two of Chatham's popular young people, Miss Belva Gertrude Scarlett, daughter of Mrs. Scarlett and the late Mr. L. H. Scarlett, of Florence, to Mr. Edward Ross McGee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnston McGee, of Chatham. The interesting ceremony, witnessed by the immediate families, was performed by Rev. J. P.
