Marriage Notice, Leamington Post, (after) 5 June 1937:
Hymeneal: Story-Howe. A pretty wedding was solemnized at the Baptish Parsonage Saturday June 5, when Miss Mary Elizabeth Howe, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Howe, was united in marriage to William John Story, son of Mrs. Story and the late Frank Story of Cottam. The bride was gowned in blue silk lace? with white accessories and carried a bouquet of premier roses.
     She was attended by Miss Edith Rymal, friend of the bride, who wore pink silk net? with matching accessories. The groom was attended by his brother, Harold Story. After the ceremony a wedding supper was served to the immediate relatives at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Wm. Hardy, Leamington.

Obituary, Leamington Post, 8 October 1955:
Mrs. E. J. Story, Cottom, Passes - Mrs. Emma Jane Store, longtime resident of the Cottam district, died early Sunday in Riverview Hospital, Windsor. She was in her 81st year.
     Born in Bowmanville, Mrs. Story came to Cottam as a girl and had resided here since that time. She had been in ill health for a number of years. Her husband, Francis C. Story, died in 1906.
     Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Reginald Anderson, of Windsor; Mrs. Norman Simpson, of Detroit; two sons, William Story, of Cottam; Harold Story, of Windsor; two sisters, Mrs. William Knight; Mrs. Roy Allison, of Blenheim; seven grandchildren...

Gee-Story nuptials held at First Baptist Church - In a setting of white mums and yellow shasta daisies, at First Baptist Church, Leamington, Rev. L. F. O'Neil assisted by Rev. R. Thistle officiated Saturday for the double-ring ceremony of Patricia Gail, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Story, of Cottam, and Allan Jerry Gee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Gee, of Essex.

Obituary, Leamington Post, 29 March 1982:
William Story services held - William John Story, 85, died March 28? at his late residence, Centre St., Essex.
     He was born in Gosfield North Township and spent most of his life there.
     He is survived by his wife Nancy (Rowe), a daughter Gail, Mrs. Allan Gee, of Essex; two grandchildren Todd? and ??; brother of Verna, Mrs. Norman Simpson, Leamington; Harold, Windsor; and (Emma) Mrs. Reg Anderson, Windsor.
     Funeral services where held from the Donald S. ? Funeral Home, Essex, on March 31, with Rev. S. Sidebottom and Rev. S. Hoynes officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Leamington.
