Thursday of last week at Mount Clemens, a very pretty wedding was solemnized when Florin Hubble, of Colchester South, was united in marriage to Mrs. Susan Crandell of Detroit. The happy couple arrived Friday on the evening train and proceeded to Colchester where they were met by a large party of relatives and friends at their home where all enjoyed a beautiful wedding supper.

Amherstburg Echo, 14 April 1905 (copied by Violet Grant):
Little Lillie Crandell, Florin Hubbell's youngest daughter, for the past two months in Grand Rapids hospital undergoing a painful operation, is able to walk again. The doctor in attendance has ordered her to come to the lake in hopes of regaining her strength. She is coming to Lake Erie for a short stay under the care of her mother and a nurse.

Amherstburg Echo, 19 Jan 1917:
Elam Beeman...died on Saturday the 13th...He was the second son of the late John Beeman and his wife, Sophia Morin, of Amherstburg, and is survived by...two sisters, Mrs. George Bissell and Mrs. Florin Hubbell.
