The Marriage Registers of Upper Canada/Canada West, Volume 14, Western District 1786-1856, Compiled by Dan Walker & Fawne Stratford-Devai, Global Heritage Press, Milton:
Marriages by Rev'd Chester W. Fraser, Episcopal Methodist Minister (p. 112 & 113):
John Berry, of Sombra, to Mary Lampman, of Orford, both W.D. 8 Jan. 1846, by Licence. Rev. Fraser. Wit. James Lampman and Catherine Cameron.

Originally guessing these records all apply to Mary Anne (and her children). But given her marriage date, Alfred Ridley is probably not her son. More likely the son of Phillip Bury and Mary Ridley.

John C. Bury's First Wife by M. Teskey U.E., Lambton Settlers Series Volume 2, More Early Days Along the St. Clair, published by the Lambton Branch of the OGS (These articles were originally published in 1948-1949 as part of the Lambton Centennial Series in the Sarnia Observer):
... William's oldest son John married first Mary Ann Lampman of Kent County and secondly Sarah Ellis of Sombra township, the latter a descendant of the Loyalist family of Devins, settled for 157 years in York County...

The Bury Bulletin, 1952, pg. 30,31:
...The King's Messenger who brought the news of the outbreak of hostilies which brought the survey to a halt at Morpeth, was named Shippee. This Shippee became the ancestor of a considerable number of Bury's by the future marriage of Joseph Lampman to John Bury's grand-daughter Dorothy Manifold; the marriage of Mary Ann Lampman to Bury's grandson, John Bury of Sombra; and the still later marriage of another Shippee descendant, Hattie Smith to Sherwood Wade of Morpeth. Joseph and Mary Ann Lampman were children of Frederick Lampman, U. E. of Palmyra and his wife Lydia Shippee.
