Mrs. George Hubbell, of Oxley, who died very suddenly on Monday evening last, March 11, after a few hours illness, and intense suffering, was the eldest daughter of the late John Mickle, of Colchester South. She was aged 67 yrs. and 4 months. She leaves behind her a husband and five children Florin, Burton, Olive, Erie, and Mrs. Geo. Clark, of Colchester South, to mourn the sad event, also five sisters and two brothers - Mrs. David Botsford, of Malden, Mrs. Wheeler, of Cinncinnati, Mrs. Pardo, of Cairo, Mich., Mrs. Anderson, of Plymouth, Mich., Mrs. Bruner, of Denver, Col., Wheeler Mickle, of Calgary, Manitoba, and George Mickle, of Dimas Springs, Oregon. One brother, William, of Malden, is dead. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon from her late residence to the Episcopal church. The Rev. C.R. Matthew officiated. He took for his text Matthew 24 ch.? and the latter part of the 41st verse:-"The one shall be taken and the other left", from which he preached a short but very forcible and impressive sermon. A large number attended. The remains were interred in the old burying ground at Sackville.
