Richard Bury, 13th child, married, Catherine McIntyre of nearby Port Glasgow, a cousin of General Sir Colin Campbell. Their oldest son Richard Bury, Jr., remained in Kent Co., but five others, Daniel, Colin, Phillip, Elizabeth and Mary Bury went to California in the gold-rush days where their descendents still live (in 1952) in the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas...
