He married Elizabeth Wigle, and they had children as follows: Julianna married Peter Hetherington; George married Mary Hairsine; Elizabeth married (first) Daniel McKenzie and (second) John Magaw; Mary married Thomas Govereau; Michael was the father of Mrs. Malott; Jonas married; Catherine died unmarried; Sarah Ann married James Ruthven; Lucinda married Thomas Brush; Charles married Mary Mickle.
